- $21.25 per insertion, up to 25 words, each additional word add 50 cents
- $2.00 per word for bold text, $5.00 per line for &Headlines& (all caps & centered)
- $5.00 boxed in ads, $5.00 for reverse type (black with white type)
- $.50 per bold, underlined or capital word.

Production Requirements :
PRINTING
ON-THE-TOWN is printed web offset in a stitched-and-trimmed
tabloid format. Column width, based on a 4-column format, is
2 3/16”.
CAMERA-READY GUIDELINES
• All ads must be to the exact measurements specified on this
sheet. Do not take measurements from the magazine.
• Halftones should be 100 line screen. Screens used in artwork
should not exceed 100 lines.
• If camera-ready specifications are not met, ads will be modified
to meet specifications at the advertiser’s expense.
ELECTRONIC FILE GUIDELINES
We recommend submitting electronic advertising materials to
ON-THE-TOWN. We accept advertising produced with applications
including Quark XPress, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe
Pagemaker and Adobe Acrobat portable document file format
(PDF). Please contact your Account Executive to receive more
information regarding electronic ad filing.
• Line Screen: 100 line screen.
• Include a hard copy of the ad, contact name, and a phone
number.
• Provide name of file, number of pages in file, copies of all fonts
(include screen and printer fonts and suitcases).
• Indicate the type of computer, name of software, and version
used.
• Include all graphics in a PDF or EPS file.
• Photos should be no more than 200 dpi.
• There is approximately an 11% dot gain on the web press.
• Spot and full color ads should be designed as CMYK.
• Black and White ads should be designed in grayscale -
NO FULL-COLOR BLACK.
• Black type should not be created in full color. Use grayscale only.
• FOR ALL ADS, PLEASE DO NOT USE FULL-COLOR BLACK WHEN
CREATING FONT AND GRAPHIC ELEMENTS. When using a color
screen, please have the black print over the screen – no
knock- outs. For best results, electronic ads should be sent as PDFs.
• Please contact your Account Executive for further guidelines,
and for PDF creation settings.
DESIGN & KEYLINE
ON-THE-TOWN provides free design and keyline services with paid
advertising. Production charges apply for PMT stats, color
separations, photography and original art as quoted. Advertising
designed and produced by ON-THE-TOWN is intended solely for use
in ON-THE-TOWN magazine, unless prior arrangements have been
made.
AD PROOFS
It is the advertiser’s responsibility to review ad proofs for
accuracy and to call immediately with corrections.ON-THE-TOWN IS
NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ERRORS NOT CAUGHT BY THE ADVERTISER.
Proofs will be provided for ads requiring production work or copy
changes when requested.
